When redesigning the annual National Park Journal my intent was to highlight the beauty of the amazing places to explore en route to the national parks. This annual magazine consists of four editions: Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Yellowstone and Colorado.
Careful consideration was given for photography selection and using large images to engage and inspire the readers to plan their next road trip.
Simplicity was the goal when I designed these icons so readers can get information at a glance and avoid lengthy descriptions.
